Prezi is a zooming presentation editor and using it, you can create very interactive and nice looking presentations. Prezi is providing code to embed the file at different places but when it comes to Facebook, they are still in process as there is no turnaround available to make it easy with the help of FBML (Facebook Markup Language).
There is an option to embed the code in an iframe and then calling that iframe at the Facebook fan page using FBML but that makes things difficult and you need to manage one thing at two places so I did a little study in this direction and I found Prezi difficult to embed on fan pages so I did some way around it and prepared a side approach for it using FBML which is easy and good too 🙂
Here is the solution to this need:
<fb:swf swfbgcolor="#000000" imgstyle="border-width:3px; border-color:white;" swfsrc="http://prezi.com/bin/preziloader.swf?prezi_id=YOUR-UNIQUE-PREZI-ID" imgsrc="PATH TO YOUR DEFAULT IMAGE" width="500px" height="300px" />
Here, as in the above code, you will see that I am using Prezi with the help of FBML itself and you would just need to change the text “YOUR-UNIQUE-PREZI-ID” with your actual prezi ID. You can find such ID from the embed block easily.
Please note that you will need to add/update the image path too as if you will not add an image here then it will show a blank space which will run only when you click on that white area so to avoid that, please make sure to add an image path here which will be default seen by people and then clicking on such image will load your prezi presentation.
On a side note, my approach is different but it keeps you within the limit of FBML and it works with less code and without any external iframe too 🙂
